NCAA Football poll Week 3

Hello, this is a poll free from outside influences, here I will explain the format.

The baseline is the final AP poll in 2008. The only way to move down the ranking is to lose. Every undefeated team will be ranked ahead of every one-loss team. When the AP poll fails to guide my rankings, I will use my judgement. The most recent team to lose retains the highest rank. Ex. Florida loses, it falls from it's undefeated #1 ranking to the highest 1 loss ranking. I know this isn't explained terribly well, but hopefully the poll will help explain itself.

1. Florida (3-0, 0-0)
2. Texas (3-0, 1-0)
3. Alabama (3-0, 0-0)
4. TCU (2-0, 0-0)
5. Penn State (3-0, 0-0)
6.  Boise State (3-0, 1-0)
7. Ole Miss (2-0, 0-0)
8. Cincinati (3-0, 1-0)
9. Missouri (3-0, 0-0)
10. Iowa (3-0, 0-0)
11. California (3-0, 0-0)
12. Pittsburgh (3-0, 0-0)
13. LSU (3-0, 1-0)
14. Kansas (3-0, 0-0)
15. Miami (FL) (2-0, 2-0)
16. North Carolina (3-0, 0-0)
17. Houston (2-0, 0-0)
18. Michigan (3-0, 0-0)
19. Auburn (3-0, 1-0)
20. South Florida (3-0, 0-0)
21. UCLA (3-0, 0-0)
22. Kentucky (2-0, 0-0)
23. Colorado State (3-0, 0-0)
24. Wisconsin (3-0, 0-0)
25. Indiana (3-0, 0-0)
26. Texas A&M (2-0, 0-0)
27. Southern Miss (3-0, 1-0)

So, some interesting picks, but keep in mind how these rankings are measured.

Swapping Alegiances

I have been an Air Force fan my entire life, as should be evident by the past blogs. But, I recently decided to go to college. The college that makes the most sense for me to attend is Colorado State. I hope that attending a different school is a reason to swap teams. I will still follow Air Force hockey, as CSU doesn't have an NCAA team, but other than that, I probably am required to bleed the green and gold. Go Rams! and the best of luck to the Falcons, and their fans.
